Vacancy Description:

A position has become available for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join our web design team. As a member of the team you will work directly with the lead developers and designers on our team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Creating styles and designs from the creative team and converting them into functioning WordPress/Magento templates
  • Working with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign to create wireframes and site mock-ups
  • Working with clients face-to-face to review progress on site builds
  • Telephone interaction with clients and partners
  • Keeping to tight deadlines, and delivering functioning, quality work at all times
  • Testing sites and applications
  • Liaising with clients about their needs and relaying to the project lead


Skills Required:

  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • jQuery/Javascript
  • Bootstrap Framework, or another responsive framework
  • Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
  • WordPress (plugin/bespoke theme creation experience would be a bonus, but not essential)
  • Validation to W3C standards


Advantageous Experience:

  • Magento
  • Lemonstand
  • MODX Revolution
  • Client-facing experience
  • PHP
  • Experience in LAMP environments
