About This Project

We were tasked with developing a new site for the Great North Air Ambulance. As they do so so much good for us, we really wanted to deliver above and beyond with their website, like they do everyday.

As the Great North Air Ambulance is community powered emergency care one of the key aspects of the site needed to be the opportunity for kind and generous supporters to leave donations to help the service progress. We ensured that the website was able to take donations in a variety of ways (single, monthly, legacy) through a direct form that follows through from the ‘Donate’ header in the main navigation or through the quick donate CTA which is integrated on some of the landing pages on site.

The website is also a fully functional eCommerce websitesite where users are able to purchase a multitude of items such as the original pilot bear, events tickets, merchandise and clothing items.

We also have a lottery feature enabled on site where users can sign up to play the GNAAS Lottery either individually or via syndicates, through direct debit or a one off card payment.

We also enabled a page where patients could leave their feedback either positive or negative. As patients are central to the charity, they help shape the charity’s future. The feedback feature was a necessary one, as if any negative feedback is received then this can be improved upon, and the positive feedback can reinforce everything that the charity is doing right!

Client Testimonial

“We rely on maintaining strong relationships with our supporters, and our website is the best way of communicating directly with them. Geonet did a great job of producing a lively, clean, and interactive website which has proved to be hugely popular and significantly boosted our online earnings.”
