We were tasked with taking the world-famous and Darlington based engineering firm Whessoe digital presence from a 1990s style website to one reflecting their status following a recent acquisition by Samsung C&T. We delivered a bespokely themed responsive website to keep them up to date and reflect their modern, progressive approach to the coming years ahead.
The website was developed with full responsive capabilities so that it could be accessed at all times and so that the website is completely user friendly on all devices.
A translation tool was integrated to the site so that anyone accessing from around the world can view the site in their own language which makes the website a whole lot more user friendly and inclusive. Whessoe’s recent association with Samsung meant that this was necessary due to the fact that Samsung is a global company and could refer traffic from anywhere.
We also integrated Whessoe with a search function which enables a user to use the website a lot more effectively, especially if they are searching for something in particular. This speeds up the process for them and gives a more positive experience on site as there’s less actions for the user to carry out to get where they want to be on the website.
Most pages on the website also feature a secondary search bar, links to Whessoe’s social media and to their Latest News section so that their users are always kept in the loop and connected to the company!
