The Tees Valley Combined Authority was created in April 2016 with a purpose to drive economic growth and job creation in the area. A partnership of five authorities (Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees) the authority works closely with the business community and other partners to make local decisions to support the growth of the local economy.
Geonet has worked with Tees Valley Combined Authority for a number of years now on various design projects and we were thrilled to be working with them again on this latest project, to help deliver a bespoke website redesign that promised updated visuals, simplified page elements with an easy to navigate structure.
We met with the TVCA marketing and communications team to discuss the various redesign options for this project, as they felt their previous website’s design was due an update to align with planned content changes, a simplified sitemap and a new navigation structure. In response, we recommended a full front-end redesign, seamlessly integrated with the original CMS, to give the authority a fresh and modern web presence without the need for a complete rebuild. The result? A refreshed new website that is highly engaging and easy to navigate, all while maintaining the core values of the authority.
TVCA’s stunning new website was designed to perfectly balance eye-catching visuals and engaging content to keep visitors enticed to explore the new website further. Beautifully optimised, the website was designed to be fully mobile friendly and easy to use, to ensure a continuously great user-experience.
