Sister Francis Rowe of Darlington Carmel approached the team at Geonet seeking a bespoke, modern eCommerce website to aid in showcasing Darlington Carmel’s range of products.
With an already existing outdated website, Sister Francis came to us with a platform that had gradually become outdated and was experiencing ongoing technical issues that could not be resolved due to out of date systems.
With the team at Geonet eager to get started, we recommended rebuilding a brand new website on a more powerful, up-to-date and secure CMS to provide a better user experience for both website visitors at the front-end and website managers in the back-end.
Darlington Carmel’s newly designed website provides customers with a clean and contemporary front-end visual, displaying a balance between eye-catching product imagery and engaging content.
Along with the easy to navigate and fully re-designed front-end, the new eCommerce website includes the development of a bespoke backend system that allows for the easy management of products, categories, customer profiles, invoicing, orders and so much more. As the new website boasted a bespoke eCommerce section it also needed to be safe, secure and seamless for customers.
To accompany the fully redesigned website and CMS, built on the open-source WordPress platform, the team at Geonet also provided full training to allow the client to get fully up to speed with the running of the website prior to launch, along with a tailored training session on Search Engine Optimisation.
But don’t just take our word for it…
“The website has a professional look and we got all the elements we needed. The team at Geonet have been helpful in getting me up to speed. There were a number of new things for me to learn and they have helped me from start to finish.” – Sister Frances Rowe
