BRM are a local family business that supplies the service, hire, repair and retail sales of land based agricultural and forestry machinery.
The previous site was over 10 years old, and so was well overdue a bit of an update! The website required a responsive redesign with a much more up-to-date, contemporary front-end visual as well as the integration of an easy-to-use Content Management System, enabling the team at Brian Robinson Machinery Ltd to login and manage site content moving forward.
It was essential that the new website was very simple and easy to user, so visitors were able to quickly find exactly what they were looking for without having to scroll through lots of unnecessary content. Geonet recommended a clean visual focussing on the client’s engaging image and video content, including a sticky menu to follow users wherever they go, a large slider to feature franchises and products in focus, a search facility and a selection of contact pages depending on which department a user is looking to engage with.
The website includes key information about the business itself as well as the range of franchise brands that are available at BRM, including Valtra, Pottinger, Polaris, Merlo and Kärcher. The site also showcases the range of machinery for sale – from tractors, to balers to spreaders! The BRM site integrates with the client’s third-party Business Management System to keep the product data refreshed and up to date at all times to ensure that visitors are only seeing available products.
Just after the launch of the new website, Geonet helped Brian Robinson Machinery (BRM) Ltd celebrate 35 years in business at their Open Day at their premises in East Cowton, North Yorkshire, where we were on hand to show off the new website and chat visiting contractors through the features and facilities available.
