Passionate Pubs

Brief

The main objective of this website design was very simple - the on-going recruitment of pub managers. Unfortunately on line recruitment of any type is a highly valuable market and therefore extremely competitive on the Internet. This meant some specialist research was required to narrow down the types of key words used by people searching for management jobs in pubs.

Solution

Armed with this data Geo-net were able to accurately target the web pages towards right keywords for people searching for a pub management job, as opposed to those searching for a pint, or a job as a bricklayer.

Outcome

Afterwards Jan Sowa, MD of The Passionate Pub Co. had this to say: "Not knowing what to expect, I found the SEO training very informative and illuminating on the day, and the initial results in respect of the hits on our website have been most encouraging!" At the early stage after the work Jan was perhaps being a little cautious in his optimism because by now anyone now searching Google in the UK for the following key phrases: pub management vacancies pub companies uk managing pubs pub manager vacancies management opportunities for pubs ... would find the relatively small Passionate Pub Co. on the first pages of results - a significantly more consistent performance than all their much bigger rivals. Recruitment agencies typically charge 20% of the value of the basic salary and that could be as much as £6,000 for a single candidate. Passionate Pub co. typically spend less than a tenth of that each year to recruit via their own website.
